Assist Sta. 76- Frankford on a Structural Fire with Explosions - Mountaire Feed Mill, Daisey Road

On Monday, October 27th, Selbyville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to assist Station 76, Frankford, with a working structure fire with explosion. This was at the Mountaire Feed Mill located just off Route 113 on Daisey Road. Truck 88 (Deputy Chief Lathbury with crew of 5) and Engine 88-1 (Chief Eckman with crew of 6)responded to the scene. Truck 88 was assigned to access the roof, while Engine 88-1 was staged. During the length of operations, Engine 88-4 (EMS Captain Foxwell with crew of 6) remained available in the Selbyville district, along with an engine from Station 90-Roxana (Assistant Chief Hudson and crew).
