Pediatric Medevac - Church Street

Selbyville EMS was dispatched for a subject injured from a fall. During the ambulance response, the dispatch was upgraded to a pediatric trauma. Upon arrival of A-88, the patient presented with an altered LOC. The assessments and interview of family resulted in a decision to medevac the patient to Christiana Hospital. Arrival of SCEMS 105 confirmed that decision and DSP Trooper 2 landed in an open field next to the scene. LZ coverage was handled by Engine 88-1 with Chief 88 (Eckman) and crew. Fire police and Selbyville PD had traffic control during the event.
