Truck operations - Dupont Highway

The inservice education session involved truck operations at a commercial structure (restaurant) that is scheduled for demolition. Wayne Hutchinson from Delaware State Fire School was the instructor of record, and several evolutions were performed. Department members did roof ventilations, cut small access holes in exterior walls, concrete block wall breaching, and "popped" a few doors. The department does note that the small access holes were for tool practice, and were cut small due to having to cover and secure the building until the next session. The department thanks "Hutch" for a good evening session. Operating at the drill were Truck 88, Engine 88-1, Rescue 88, and Ambulance B-88. Overseeing the session was Chief 88 (Eckman) and Deputy 88 (Lathbury). A total of 16 firefighters were at the drill.
