Vehicle Accident - Dupont Highway & Mason Dixon Shopping center

SVFC was alerted for a two vehicle accident with entrapment on DuPont Highway in the area of the Mason-Dixon Shopping Center. 88-18 (Foxwell) was in the area with the crew of Worcester County Station 900 PM-1. Upon arrival 88-18 assumed command, confirming a two vehicle accident, with the occupant of one vehicle unresponsive. With the arrival of 900 PM-1 and B-88, a rapid extrication of the unresponsive patient was affected through the passenger door of his truck. At the same time members of the crews attended the driver of the second vehicle who had self extricated and was lying on the ground. The crews of Engine 88-1 and Rescue 88 assisted with patient packaging and debris removal from the roadway. One patient was transported ALS by 900 PM-1 and one patient by B-88, both to PRMC in Salisbury. Units on scene were Engine 88-1, Rescue 88, B-88, Worcester County 900 PM-1, TC-88, and Selbyville PD.
