Truck Fire - Mason Dixon Shopping Center

Selbyville Fire Company was dispatched for a vehicle fire at the shopping center. Upon the arrival of ambulance B-88, a report was given of a well involved pick-up truck inside a wash bay of the car wash. Extension onto the walls and ceiling of the structure was also reported. Engine 88-1 with Deputy 88 as the OIC arrived and quickly extinguished the fire utilizing the CAFS system. Investigation into the interior attic spaces revealed extensive smoke but no fire. Active ventilation cleared the spaces, and Deputy 88 placed the situation under control. Engine 88-1, Ambulance B-88, Utility 88-10, DSFM, and Selbyville PD responded.
